Abstract:
千山不獨行

我覺得世界上的事情都是有一定的緣份.更加深信「上天關了這扇門,必定會為你開另一扇窗」。2008年，年底，我的朋友邀請我參加全國棒球協會到南投山區拜訪當地的原住民小學的活動，去關心他們的生活，在南投縣信義鄉的地利國小校園裡幾位「兄弟象」的大哥哥們和孩子們打成一片，聽到孩子們開心的笑聲，看到小朋友燦爛的笑容，我心裡很有感 觸，開始思考我能夠為他們做點甚麼？這些孩子，有的是單親，有的是隔代教養，有的母親是外籍配偶，我將分享我和原住民孩子們交流的經驗。
每一個孩子都是父母的肉、國家的寶，我覺得有生之年，能為台灣的孩子們做點甚麼，就盡力而為吧！讓我們一起行動來關心原住民孩子們吧!

Dr. Ma has been married for 42 years. Her husband is a civil and transportation engineer. She is a mother of two, boy and girl; Grandma of four, age 6, boy; 3, girl; 2, boy; and one month boy!! She lived in the US for 33 years and went back to Taipei in 1999 to be with aged parents. Her major was in Biochemistry major; did research in universities and Brookhaven National Lab; and was .R&D VP for a local pharmaceutical company for 9 years. She retired in 2008 and is pursuing volunteer work to help aboriginal kids and Alzheimer's seniors in Taiwan.
